Meet Buky
Buky is an investment banking professional and the founder of SipGeek, the UK’s award-winning non-alcoholic mobile cocktail bar, where she expresses her passion for making celebratory drinks at events. Inspired by her Nigerian roots, a large family background, and the countless joyous celebrations and family events, Buky leveraged her Mum’s catering and hotel management experience and soon learnt to make the most authentic Nigerian drinks and foods as they hosted and entertained.
However, given most of the traditional Nigerian drink recipes like the Chapman, Zobo (Hibiscus Drink), and Kunuzaki (Fermented Millet Drink) are high-sugar drinks, Buky sought to create an improved variant of these widely loved drinks, birthing the vision for Sipify. Through Sipify, Buky aims to make African-inspired and tropical drinks accessible to a wider demographic while maintaining a low-sugar, vegan-friendly, no-preservatives alternative that does not compromise on taste and flavour.
